Dalian Introduces the CKE Series CNC Flat Bed Lathes

DMTG North America (Dalian) has introduced the CKE Series CNC flat bed lathes designed to perform a wide range of turning applications with a high degree of machining flexibility and precision cutting. "All main components on the CKE Series lathes are high quality, heavy-duty solid cast iron for rigidity, with Turcite-B coating on all surfaces between the saddle and the guideways," said a spokesperson. "The bedways and headstock gears are hardened and ground, and all lathes have precision ballscrews, highly rigid precision bearings and automatic forced lubrication from a centralized oil system. CKE Series lathes are available with swings over the bed from 14- to 32-inches and swings over the cross slide from 7.09- to 19.29-inches. The lathes have automatic headstock gear changing and a horizontal four-position automatic indexing turret as standard equipment, with other optional vertical and horizontal turret turrets available, depending on the model. The lathes feature a stepless spindle with infinitely variable spindle speeds and are available with a choice of Fagor 8055TC control or Fanuc 0i-TC control."
