Mayfran International will feature several new products for chip, coolant and scrap management at IMTS 2010. Leading the group will be the new ConSep Flex that is designed to combine features of a hinged steel belt conveyor, a scraper/drag conveyor and magnetic bed technology with a permanent media self-cleaning drum coolant filter. This "three-in-one" chip removal system can provide manufacturers with flexibility and faster response time for a wide array of machining demands, the company said.
New to the U.S. market, the Coolant Management and Control System from Mayfran Europe automatically monitors, reports and controls coolant characteristics, extending coolant life and increasing machine tool productivity, said Mayfran. Also being introduced from Mayfran Europe is the HPF 300, a standalone filtration unit designed to clean coolant of fine particles down to 10 micron using paper media. |

Rounding out the at-the-machine chip and coolant management product offering will be a chip tote conveyor specially outfitted with a combination chip shredder and small wringer designed to reduce chip volume while wringing out excess coolant in one package. All these products are available with automated controls for 24/7 and "lights out" operations.
In addition to coolant and chip management, Mayfran will exhibit a working section of a Shuffle conveyor that is intended to provide an alternative to moving scrap with a hinged steel belt. This system is designed to offer the flexibility to handle a wide variety of scrap not only from stamping operations but laser cutting and turret presses as well while avoiding the excessive wear problems associated with traditional scrap removal systems, the company said.
