Innovative Hydraulic Press Solutions

Greenerd Press & Machine Company, Inc. has announced it will be showcasing the company's hydraulic press capabilities. Application experts and design engineers from Greenerd will be available to discuss specific user applications and press requirements at the Fabricating Pavilion.

Greenerd will present unique hydraulic press application solutions, including a transfer line for an automotive company that has three stations that draw, re-draw and punch the component. The draw presses are 250-ton capacity and the punch press is a 150-ton capacity machine. Speeds on the line exceed 2,000 IPM, providing an ideal high volume automotive solution. Greenerd's extensive line of hydraulic presses are available in a variety of styles ranging from gap frame and straight-side to die-spotting and forging presses, with unlimited size and tonnage capabilities.

"We are seeing substantial growth acceleration in the automotive, aerospace, appliance and HVAC equipment markets," said Greenerd Press & Machine Company CEO Jerry Letendre. "To meet the demand in these markets, we are providing press solutions that are flexible, productive and reliable. Our broad range of hydraulic presses, including a standard line along with custom designed presses, is made to meet challenging application needs, many of them quite large and complex."
