Master Magnetics Moves to New Location

Master Magnetics' new Castle Rock location.

Since 1976, Master Magnetics, Inc. has grown into a single source for magnets and magnetic products throughout North America for commercial, industrial and consumer use.

Starting out in a 4,000-sq. ft. manufacturing space with one primary product, the magnetic toolholder, Master Magnetics has grown to over 20 million products in stock, requiring the need to enlarge and consolidate its Colorado facilities.

The move to the new headquarters in Castle Rock, consolidates 85,000 sq. ft. in seven different buildings into one 99,000 sq. ft. building and will support future growth. The new headquarters includes 84,000 sq. ft. of production and warehouse space, and 15,000 sq. ft. of office space.

"Customer service has always been our primary concern and combining all of our Colorado production, warehousing and shipping operations in one location will allow us to maintain our high level of service as we grow," said Jennifer Brown, Chief Operating Officer.

Master Magnetics East, in Marietta, OH, with 20,000 sq. ft. of production, warehousing and shipping, will continue operations to provide cost-effective and efficient shipping for the eastern section of North America.

"In addition to consolidating our Colorado operations, we are able to lay out our warehouse and production areas for optimal efficiency and product flow," said Alex Onda, Supply Chain Manager for Master Magnetics. "With seven dock doors to simultaneously ship and receive product, we can accommodate the increased volume we expect as we execute our strategic sales growth plans."

"Listening to our customers and developing products that are innovative and useful for them is a point of pride for us, and a core reason for our success and growth," said Brown. "We provide the products, customer service and expertise to help our customers be successful. Our exclusive focus is on magnets. Whether it is with off-the-shelf or custom-designed products, customers rely on us to match the right magnet for their application to achieve an effective and cost-efficient solution."

The company's four major channels of business include: industrial magnetic devices; flexible magnetic sheeting, strip and point of purchase magnets; packaged magnets for resale; and raw magnetic material.
