The Whittemore Co. Expands Territory to Include Kansas, Missouri



The Whittemore Co., based in Chicago, IL, has announced an expansion of its territory to include Kansas and Missouri. Whittemore is a manufacturers representative agency that has served the upper Midwest for a century. The Whittemore Co.'s product focus includes metalcutting tools, broaching, gauging, workholding, part marking and managing swarf.

Whittemore partners with the following manufacturers:

  • Automator America, Inc.: laser, dot peen, impact and roll marking systems
  • Forkardt: engineered production chucking systems, shaft, gear and large diameter chucks
  • Kingsford Broach & Tool, Inc.: broach bars, round and flat tools
  • Kurt Engineered Systems: precision gauge systems, SPC data collection, auto-comp solutions
  • Kurt Industrial Products: vises, towers, prismatic clamping fixtures, engineered solutions
  • Mayfran International: chip conveyors, filtration systems, coolant management solutions
  • Pratt Burnerd America: manual, power and collet chucks, cylinders and top tooling, repair services
  • Speedgrip Chuck Inc.: collet chucks, engineered round part workholding, internal and external hydraulic chucks/arbors

To coincide with this expansion, Whittemore has hired Sales and Applications Engineer Brandon Crocker. He has a strong background in manufacturing with experience in industrial distribution, tooling manufacturers and most recently in workholding.
