Niigata Announces New North American Headquarters



Niigata has announced the opening of its North American headquarters, Niigata Machine Techno USA, Inc., in Elk Grove Village, IL.

Centrally located in the Midwest, the headquarters supports North American manufacturing with a full line of Niigata horizontal machining centers (HMCs) and parts. The new facility also provides service, applications engineering and technical support.

The machine tool builder was founded in 1895 in Japan. A wholly owned subsidiary of Niigata Machine Techno Co., Ltd in Niigata City, Japan, the new U.S. location is the exclusive North American distributor of the Niigata product line. "Our long tradition of exceeding expectations has resulted in long-term customer satisfaction and loyalty," said Hans Retra, President and CEO of Niigata Machine Techno USA, Inc. "The first Niigata machine sells the next."
