6-Jaw 6" and 8" Chucks

Gator has introduced 6" and 8" 6-jaw adjustable body chucks (Tech-Tru) with 7/32" minimum gripping diameter.
These high-speed forged steel body chucks are provided with two-piece hard top reversible or hard solid jaws. Each chuck is balanced within fine limit for high speed machining.
Jaws and pinions are hardened and precision ground to increase accuracy and life of both chucks. Forged and hardened scrolls are precision ground and balanced to secure high speed and precise machining. Four micro-fine adjusting screws allow 0.0004" T.I.R. gripping concentricity. The six jaws provide firm and distortion-free workpiece gripping.
The chucks are designed to be useful for all machine shops looking for a small diameter part machining and are a suitable replacement for all types of collet chucks. Together with these chucks Gator offers large selection of the A, D1, L and threaded steel adapters.
