Hands-Free Metal Shrinker/Stretcher

Woodward-Fab of Harland, MI, has introduced its new Model WFSS-PRO, a hands-free, foot-operated machine for forming metal by either shrinking or stretching the metal.

Each time the foot pedal is depressed, the machine jaws form metal at 1/8" at a time. "With repeated strokes, even a full circle can be made," said a company spokesperson.

This machine can make rust patch panels, or be used for repairing rusted wheel well openings, windshield corners, trunk weather strip areas and more. Its wide-stance frame does not require bolting to the floor.
