Bosch Names Walter Preferred Supplier

Batu Ulucay (left) from Robert Bosch GmbH hands the "Preferred Supplier" certificate to Helmut Depner from Walter AG.

Walter has won the title of Preferred Supplier from Robert Bosch GmbH, marking the fourth-time Walter has received this accolade. "Walter is a partner we have been able to rely on over the years and it continues to come up with exciting new innovations," said Bosch's Batu Ulucay.

Walter and Bosch have worked together for many years on a shared vision of digital transformation and Industry 4.0. In this emerging environment, partnerships based on tight-knit networks and innovation are proving to be key to business success. With recent innovations in cutting tool development and its new Technology Center, Walter is able to provide Bosch with the support it needs to increase the productivity of its processes, lengthen tool life and, as a result, reduce costs.

Walter Global Account Manager for Bosch, Helmut Depner noted, "We are on hand to help Bosch with any concerns or issues that may arise and are sure to perform all services required with efficiency. We are very proud to have been awarded this certificate. For us, it is a clear indication that we are doing a good job and that our work is being appreciated and considered important by our customer."

"Walter, a global leader in the metalworking industry with over 90 years of experience in precision cutting tools for milling, drilling, turning, boring and specialized tools, helps customers improve process reliability and increase productivity," said a company spokesperson. With Regional Headquarters in Waukesha, WI, Walter markets its competence brands Walter Valenite, Walter Titex, Walter Prototyp and Walter Multiply through a network of distributors and field engineers across subsidiaries in the USA, Canada, Mexico, Brazil and Argentina.
