Morris Midwest Annual Technology Show and Open House



Morris Midwest, a division of Morris Group, Inc., will hold its annual technology show and open house May 17-18, 2017 in Maple Grove, MN. The regional machine tool distributor will display CNC machinery from Okuma, Tsugami, Hardinge Group, Chiron and Trumpf and perform live metalcutting demonstrations throughout the two-day event. Suppliers of tooling, accessories, software, automation and related products will be present both days to exhibit and discuss the latest advancements in productivity enhancing technology.

Manufacturers of medical components and devices and other area manufacturers are invited to view and learn about the latest technology. Machines on display will include 20 mm and 32 mm opposed gang tool type lathes and the VA2 compact high-speed vertical machining center from Tsugami plus a variety of machines from Okuma, Hardinge Group and Chiron, notably vertical machining centers, horizontal lathes and multi-axis VMCs. Trumpf North America will exhibit laser technology including a turnkey system that provides flexibility and cost efficiency for large or small batches of work.

Product specialists and representatives from several leading technology suppliers will be in attendance and available both days to discuss the latest advancements.

Morris Midwest's Minnesota facility is located at 8718 Monticello Lane North in Maple Grove. Daily show hours are 9 AM to 7 PM with a buffet dinner from 5 PM to 7 PM both days.
