Trident Machine Tools, LLC, a division of Morris Group, Inc. (MGI), recently expanded its representation of Haas CNC machine tools and rotary products to include the Gulf Coast states of Louisiana and Mississippi, formerly represented by Machine Tools, Inc. In doing so, they have formed a new company under the name Machine Tools, LLC, which will market and support the products of Haas Automation under the brand Haas Factory Outlet - A Division of Machine Tools, LLC, also known as HFO/Louisiana.
"We look forward to the opportunity to support the manufacturing community of Louisiana and Mississippi with the same high level of support they have come to expect," stated Nick Schuchardt, President of Trident Machine Tools.
HFO/Louisiana will remain at its current Lafayette, LA, location with a second tech center in Canton, MS. Patrick Kane III has been named General Manager, with the majority of the 18 employee staff unchanged.

"As a family owned business ourselves, we see many similarities to the management style coming from Trident and the Morris Group. Machine Tool, Inc. was established in 1989 by Pat Kane, and has been an authorized distributor for Haas Automation since 1995. In addition to its two tech centers, HFO/Louisiana also supports several strategically located Haas Technical Education Centers, known as H-TECs, in the two state region, each featuring state-of-the-art CNC labs in partnership with the schools in which they are housed.
HFO/Louisiana is the fifth Haas Factory Outlet owned and operated by MGI. Others include: HFO/Trident, supporting manufacturers in the six New England states; HFO/Midwest, supporting manufacturers in Ohio, Kentucky and West Virginia; HFO/Chicago, supporting manufacturers in Northern Illinois and Indiana; and HFO/Florida, supporting manufacturers in Florida and the Caribbean.
