High Speed Technologies, Inc. Partners with Robert Renaud SA

High Speed Technologies, Inc. (HST) has signed an exclusive resell and repair agreement for the USA territory with Robert Renaud SA of Switzerland. Founded in 1985, Renaud offers a broad range of high precision spindles for machine tool builders and for retrofit on existing machines.

"Renaud spindles are known worldwide for their high performance, reliability and superb 'Swiss Made' quality," said a company spokesperson. The company's focus is on the spindle market, with the majority of its sales serving 20 mm to 210 mm diameter size. They offer belt driven or motorized spindles with power ranging from 250 w to 46 kW and speeds up to 120,000 RPM. These spindles are designed for applications in milling, grinding, polishing and drilling. Besides its standard line, Renaud can manufacture custom spindles for special applications.

HST has been providing OEM quality spindle repairs to the machine tool industry for 30 years. Now it can offer replacement spindles for units that are damaged beyond economical repair along with engineering assistance for new applications. HST can also provide domestic support for the thousands of Renaud spindles currently operating in the USA. HST Production Manager, Matthew Frisella said: "We have been providing quality spindle repairs to end users and OEMS for over three decades. Now with the Renaud product line, when a spindle is very badly damaged we can offer our customers replacement options that can save them thousands of dollars."

"To guarantee OEM quality repairs, HST uses only top name brand super precision spindle bearings in each spindle repair," said the spokesperson. "Additionally we subject every repaired spindle to stringent testing including, runout, balance, vibration and a host of other tests depending on the nature of the spindle. Because of our excellent repair record several OEMs now use HST for their USA spindle repairs."
