Tri Process Company Joins Valence Surface Technologies

Valence Surface Technologies (Valence), an independent metal finish company focused on the aerospace and defense industry, announced that it has acquired Tri Process Company (Tri Process) in Paramount, CA. Tri Process is a metal finishing company specializing in shot peening and abrasive blasting primarily serving the aerospace industry.

"Valence is very excited to have Tri Process as part of the team. Tri Process is a pioneer of shot peening and maintains an excellent reputation for delivering the highest quality finishing and excellent on-time delivery," said Valence CEO Tim Mickael. "Valence can now improve lead times, reduce transportation cost and streamline logistics for our customers with shot peen requirements."

According to the company, Tri Process' shot peening is a perfect complement to Valence's Southern California NDT, chemical processing and paint operations. It allows Valence to offer a one-stop metal finishing solution for the aerospace supply chain. Tri Process is Nadcap accredited and is known for its comprehensive capabilities with over 20 shot peen machines highlighted by large shot peen gantries capable of peening parts up to 65 feet in length and up to 12 feet in width.

Tri Process maintains its legal structure, management team and normal operations. All day-to-day managers remain in place and senior executives of Valence will provide corporate support.
