Cosen introduced the C-260NC, a high-production programmable band saw that incorporates a 5 HP drive motor. It has a 10.2" round cutting capacity, and its new Mitsubishi touch screen control allows operators to easily program the cut length and quantity desired, up to 99 stored cutting jobs, the company said. The saw also features Automatic Kerf Compensation for parts longer than a single index. The hydraulic full stroke vises and double retracting vises allow full capacity movement for both machine and index vises with a touch of the screen. It is a suitable saw for production sawing.
