No. 997 is a 750-degrees F electrically-heated cabinet oven from Grieve, currently used for heating Teflon billets at the customer's facility. Workspace dimensions on this oven measure 72" W x 72" D x 72 "H. One hundred kW are installed in Incoloy-sheathed tubular elements to heat the oven chamber, while a 10,000 CFM, 7-1/2 HP recirculating blower provides vertical upward airflow to the workload.

This Grieve cabinet oven features 6" insulated walls, subway grating shelf at the bottom of the oven workspace rated for 2,500 lb. loading and four pairs of shelf supports rated at 200 lbs. per shelf.

Controls on No. 997 include a digital programming temperature controller, manual reset excess temperature controller with separate contactors, recirculating blower airflow safety switch and 10" diameter circular chart recorder.
